2014 Series 1 3D Printer

Featuring a streamlined aluminum and acrylic body, glass build surface, updated electronics, and modular design, your Series 1 is built to last.

Modular Design

The Series 1 has been designed with easy upgrades in mind so that as new technologies emerge, you'll be able to swap out one component instead of the whole printer. This is accomplished through thoughtful design of the chassis, electronics bay, and ribbon cabling, which leave room to add on or swap out features as they become available.

Durable 3D Printing

With newly redesigned and precision laser-cut CNC folded metal chassis, the 2014 Series 1 is stronger than ever. Upgraded cabling, power supply, and motors have been integrated into the 2014 Series 1 to deliver more accuracy and more up-time.

Network 3D Printing is Here!

The Series 1 pushes user experience to new heights by introducing truly usable network printing. After initial setup, simply connect your printer to the home network, click print, and walk away.

For an even better utilization of the network, upload your design in a browser and print via WiFi from any connected device!

Massive Build Volume

With a one cubic foot (12 x 12 x 12") build volume, the possibilities are endless!

Featuring the Winchester Extruder

Our extruder is still the easiest hot end to replace, and it is now the easiest to clean at the best valued.

High Precision Industrial Grade Linear Guide System

Quality is our highest priority, and that's why we have gone above and beyond the industry-standard bearings and brought in precision-milled linear slides that are designed to work under heavy load and provide an incredibly smooth motion for thousands of hours.

Easy Bed Leveling

The Series 1 arrives factory calibrated, but over time small adjustments may need to be made to the print platform calibration. And now it's even easier. The master Z-trigger adjustment is now on the top right of the build area in easy reach. Hex nuts have been replaced with finger adjustable nuts to allow surface leveling with no tools required.

In line with our Accessible Source policy, we have decided to rewrite our warranty policy from scratch.

We now enable our users to explore, modify, and develop their 3D printer without fear of voiding the product warranty. We will give you tech support no matter the circumstance, though we may have to restore your machine to factory settings in order to resolve the issue.
