Introducing New Support and Maintenance Programs with Type A Machines Membership Plans

One of the key objectives in any production floor is to reach maximum productivity or efficiency. An efficient production line can reduce risks and lower costs that can have a significant impact on the bottom line of any business. At Type A Machines, we want to ensure that our customers are to achieve this objective, optimize their productions and to truly take advantage of the many benefits that 3D printing provides.

As such, we are thrilled to announce that in addition to delivering the best 3D printing solutions in the market, starting today, we are offering new membership plans designed to protect, educate, as well as reward every Series 1 3D printer customer. They include a range of new services to help you overcome issues, prevent downtime and ensure peak performance of your machines, allowing you to increase your productivity. New service offerings include:

Preventative Care - On-site maintenance, including parts and labor, $780/yr per machine (may require added travel expenses)
Priority Service - Phone support for fast turnaround of service and parts, $499/yr per machine
Members Club - Loyalty program with discounts on consumables and materials, $125 per yr
• Getting Started Training - One free hour with a Type A Machines technician with printer purchase

In today’s press release, Shawn Hopwood, Type A Machines Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Sales announced: “For our customers, time is money. Having a printer down means lost productivity and often, lost revenue. With our expanded service offerings, especially our focus on preventative care and education, we serve the demanding needs of our customers.”

Preventative Care
As with other manufacturing tools, a 3D printer is a mechanical device. This means that parts wear out over time and regular servicing is needed to keep your printer in good shape. For $780 USD per year, customers can avail of our Preventive Care which includes on-site visit from a Type A Machines technician, as well as standard replacement parts. It also includes the benefits of both Priority Service and Members Club.

Priority Service
Receive responsive and priority service from our tech experts and customer support team. For just $499 a year, customers will be provided the following services to avoid the risk of downtime. Includes all Members Club benefits:

  • Priority Email: Email responses to support requests within 24 hours
  • Responsive Phone Support: Expert help during business hours (M-F 9am-5pm PST)
  • Priority Parts Shipping: Same-day shipment of parts for tickets submitted before noon PST and next-day shipment for tickets submitted before 3 pm PST
  • Machine Swap: Printer replacement if we cannot repair your printer
Members Club
With the new Type A Machines Members Club, customers can enjoy exclusive perks and offer each month. For $125 USD per year, each member receives the following benefits:
  • Members-only pricing on parts and materials
  • Early access to new products
  • Special offers from our partners
